aktiBMI: How to Keep Track of Your Weight
In this app you can find everything you need to know about achieving a healthy weight:
1) Body and Heart Weight Journal
If you have a lot of time and are interested in personal health, you can choose our free Body and Heart Weight Journal to track and calculate your body weight. You can also choose between multiple settings:
- Choose between two, three, or five days
- Choose between weekly or monthly graphs
2) Calculating your BMI and its interpretation
The app calculates your BMI (Body Mass Index) based on the following formula:
BMI = Weight (kg) / Height (m)² x 703.
BMI shows the weight-related health of the user in a quantitative and graphical way. BMI helps you to recognize whether you have a problem with your body weight or not. If your BMI is higher than 30, you are considered to be overweight. If your BMI is below 18.5, you are considered to be underweight.
